Laser Cutting:

4000 watt 5'x10' Mitsubishi Laser

Laser cutting has drastically changed the metal working industry by allowing for fast and extremely acurate cutting of a variety of metals. Our 4000 watt Mitsubishi laser has increased our cutting abilities including 1" steel, 1/2" stainless steel and 3/8" aluminium. The advantages of laser cutting are many and include, low set up costs, accuracy of the finished cut and improved material utilization. We are able to efficiently nest parts to get the best posible nest and thereby reduce wasted materials. We can work from your CAD files, or we will design and produce the parts to your specifications.  If you are not familiar with the CAD side of sheet metal and design, just give us a call and we will help you through the development of your parts.

Water Jet Cutting

We recently added an OMAX water jet cutting machine with "tilt a jet" to our shop which allows us to process thicker materials up to 3" steel plate and a variety of other materials including glass, brass, copper, inconel, stainless steel and stone. One of the leading advantages to the water jet processing is the accuracy to .004"  and the ability to cut metals without creating a heat affected zone which can make secondary operations difficult. With the "tilt a jet" feature, we are able to maintain sharp 90 degree edges throughout the cutting path.

Panel Bending Machine:

RAS 73.30 Flexibend Folding Machine

The RAS Flexibend produces extremely accurate panels and bends up to 10' long in materials up to 11 gage. The panel bender has dramatically changed the way we engineer parts allowing us to build structural bends into our panel construction. This has reduces overall assembly weight and improves manufacturing times. Additionally, it allows us to handle many types of specialty metals such as Stainless Steel and coated metals without marring the surface finish. Whether you need a simple part, or a fully hemmed edge panel; we have the tooling necessary to meet your needs.

Press Brakes:

We operate several multi axis hydraulic press brakes, from 110 - 225 tons, including a Cincinnati and an Adira both of which produce extremely accurate parts in materials up to 1/2" thick

Stress Relieving:

We have recently added the ability to stress relieve large weldments during and post welding utilizing the Mela-Lax by Bonal. This system introduces low frequency vibrations into the part during the welding process allowing the filler metal to cool more evenly and reduces thermal distortion.

Pipe & Tube Bending:

We operate a CNC Ercolina Mega bender with positioning table that will handle custom bending of 1/2" to 3" pipe and tubing. This allows us to manufacture steel railings and guard rails with complex multiple bends having a smooth tight radius throughout the piece being made.  We also utilize our Jancey pipe coper that provides for extremely tight fit-up  joint fit up prior to welding.

Metal Finshing:

Once metal has been cut or punched, there can be a variety of burrs and or slag on the back of a part. We run a 42" Time Saver sander which will provide a uniform finish and a burr free part. We also have three vibratory finishers that are especially good at de-burring and polishing smaller parts to a uniform finish.
